A bunch of 18 inch Willy Wonka pics.

I was told the white face and the box art was the licensors request. NECA had nothing to do with the decisions there. Which explains why the box art is different from their usual 18 inch figures.
I wasnt really sure about getting this...but i am glad I did. These pics really helped me realize the detail in the figure and what a nice piece it turned out to be.

That's strange.. 9 of of 10 reviews of the movie ALL compared Depp's Wonka in some way to Michael Jackson.

Well lets see..he doesnt like kids. I think that alone is enough to warrant him NOT being like Michael. Did you SEE the movie yourself?

Yeah I did, and if you are too blind to see any comparison's with Depp's Wonka and M Jackson, I'll not attempt to enlighten you.

perhaps I just dont pay enough attention to michael jackson or have the love for him you have to notice or care...

I'm not disputing th quality of the figure at all.. it's the subject matter that I'm not interested in.

A Depp/Wonka/Michael Jackson figure is just not something I want to be staring across the room at me.

I didn't like his character in the movie, and therefor have no interest in owning anything related to it.

I might buy a "thriller/Beat it" Michael Jackson figure, but I sure as hell don't want a "baby dangling current Jackson" diorama either.. LOL!

IMHO, Depp drew too much from Michael in his portrayal, and let's face it, M Jackson is just plain screwball now.
